Our 100% wool dryer balls are hand felted in the beautiful hills of Sonoma County here in California. This Eco-Friendly Alternative to Dryer Sheets and Plastic Dryer Balls are made from all natural wool from very well cared for sheep.

Wool dryer balls are an essential item for using while drying clothes in a machine dryer- for saving energy, money and our environment. By absorbing moisture and circulating air flow, hence eliminating static by shortening drying time. No chemicals, no plastic. Add natural scents to balls like lavender. We always recommend using the sun or the warmth of your home to dry clothes and then use the dryer to fluff and soften.

We recommend using all 5 balls per dryer load.

Recipe for making your own dry laundry detergent.

1 bar of Aleppo traditional olive oil soap, finely grate.
1 cup of washing soda- (I buy this is bulk at Rainbow Grocery in San francisco).
1 cup of borax ( also available in bulk)
20 drops of your favorite essential oils. I like lemon or lavender.

extra boost
1/4 cup of baking soda added to wash is a good cleaning boost.
1/2 cup white vinegar in the rinse cycle.

I hang my clothes on the line to save energy and money- I also use this time to slow down as a meditation.
