Small Bento Bags
Small Bento Bags
I created the Bento bag to replace single-use disposables- or packaging of any kind.
Inspired by the Japanese azuma bukuro and bento- bako, for their attention to food and packaging.
I love the fact that this design comes from using one piece of fabric, folded and cut in such a way, that makes the size and shape.
GOAL: less plastic in our waterways and landfills and more luscious green land and clean oceans for all living creatures.
Ambatalia small bento bags are so great for so many things that need a bag to carry them, ideal for buying grains, pasta, nuts, and small produce, fruit, or using as a small lunch and snack bag and perfect lettuce spinner. You can also use as a bread bag for the table, cosmetic, travel, or project bag. Knitters especially go bonkers for these little organizers. I love to keep a few in my bag, car, and home for easy use. Don't forget me!
Small bento bag measures 10"x 3"x 9.5" height.
HOW TO USE: This bag is like a bucket with two points that tie together. Fill the contents and tie the points together either once for easy access or twice to secure the contents and carry by holding the knot. When pouring grains, nuts, seeds, etc. into jar- just put one of the pointy ends into the jar, hold the base of the bag with another hand, and gently let the ingredient fall into the container.
CARE: We recommend cold water wash and line dry for the conservation of our environment and fabric longevity. It's okay to use warm water and low heat to tumble dry.
We don't use any plastic in the shipping of our products and use 100% recycled shipping materials. They can either be composted or recycled.
Thoughtfully designed and ethically manufactured in California.
